Street Level Health Project is seeking an Immigrant Defense Lead Organizer (Manager) in Oakland to coordinate staff and volunteers, build community coalitions, and guide the Immigrant Defense program. The role emphasizes organizing, logistics, and alliance-building with La Colectiva and day labor teams.

With a focus on immigrant justice, this full-time, in-person position reports to the Executive Director and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for leadership development.

Qualifications

• Experience in community organizing or advocacy work.
• Strong facilitation, mediation, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating events, meetings, trainings, or campaigns.
• Ability to build trust with diverse communities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems, databases, and data tracking.

Responsabilités

• Lead logistical coordination for Immigrant Defense objectives and ensure program tracking and grant reporting.
• Manage staff mentoring, supervision, and annual performance evaluations.
• Hire, onboard, and support new and current team members; develop work plans with evaluations.
