Job summary

KACE Company in Newark, NJ is seeking a Team Lead to manage the daily operations of a linguist team on government language contracts. The role combines technical supervision with hands-on linguist work when needed, guiding a group of professionals to deliver accurate summaries, transcriptions and translations.

You will serve as the primary client tech POC, ensure adherence to policies, coordinate training and scheduling with supervisors, verify time and project codes, and travel to client sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or progress toward degree with 3+ years professional experience.
• Associates degree with 5+ years professional experience.
• High School diploma with 7+ years professional experience.
• One-year management experience in related industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of linguists to meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Primary point of contact for linguists; escalate as needed.
• Ensure policies are communicated and training is completed.
• Coordinate with supervisors for technical training and scheduling.
• Maintain quality control, monitor output, and produce weekly reports.
