Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking an HR Supervisor to lead the day-to-day HR activities, ensuring adherence to policies and legal requirements. You will guide managers on performance and employee relations, and coordinate salaried recruitment, including new hire orientation in Workday.

The role requires strong communication skills, confidentiality, and a proactive, fast-paced approach. Day 1 benefits and on-the-job training are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible HR experience with emphasis on employment, employee relations, and/or benefits.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience, including knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate in English; multilingual abilities preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Workday experience preferred.
• Self-starter with initiative; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR department activities to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Counsel and guide managers on performance management; assist with corrective action memos.
• Coordinate salaried recruitment including screening, interviewing, offers, and new hire orientation in Workday.
• Advise managers on state and federal regulations and HR practices regarding employee issues.
• Identify training needs and develop HR-related training on performance and employee relations.
• Prepare reports (e.g., retention) and communicate findings timely.
• Mentor and cross-train employees to support career development.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE where mandated.
