Job summary

Melds in Fletcher, NC seeks a bilingual HR Generalist to support day-to-day people operations and safety at its Asheville-area manufacturing facility. This onsite role partners with leadership to handle full-cycle HR and drive OSHA-compliant safety programs and training.

You will manage recruitment, staffing, employee relations, performance management, and policy documentation while maintaining HRIS records and supporting payroll and benefits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Safety, or related field.
• 3+ years HR and/or safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with HRIS and safety recordkeeping.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment from job postings through new hire orientation.
• Monitor staffing and collaborate with department leads to meet needs.
• Support managers and employees; handle inquiries and conflicts.
• Oversee performance management programs and coaching.
• Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
• Provide backup support for benefits enrollment and payroll processing.
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS and generate reports.
