LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a bilingual Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist for a fully on-site role in Kernersville, NC.

You will partner with the Plant HR Manager to establish and support safety programs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, building the facility’s safety function from the ground up by developing and implementing policies, conducting employee training, investigating workplace incidents, and maintaining a visible safety presence on the production floor.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in manufacturing safety environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to deliver training in English and Spanish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives with limited infrastructure.
• Willingness to work across multiple shifts.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Help establish the facility’s safety program, including processes and signage.
• Conduct safety orientations and ongoing training in English and Spanish.
• Maintain a regular presence on the manufacturing floor to enforce safety.
• Manage incident reporting, investigation, documentation, and follow-up.
• Identify contributing factors and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to implement safety improvements.
• Communicate safety expectations across shifts.
• Support safety signage and employee communications.
• Respond to urgent safety incidents outside normal hours.
• Help build a proactive safety culture in a developing safety program.
