Job summary

SEG Solar, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an organized HR Onboarding Specialist to coordinate all pre-employment and onboarding activities for our manufacturing workforce across multiple shifts and locations.

You will conduct new hire orientations, collect documentation, manage background checks and badges, and provide bilingual support in English and Spanish to ensure a smooth first day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor–level degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 1–2 years in HR, onboarding, or related role.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments; manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding from pre-employment through first day.
• Conduct new hire orientations and review policies and procedures.
• Collect and maintain required new hire documentation, including I-9s and forms.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, badges, and onboarding requirements.
• Provide bilingual support in English and Spanish to employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and track onboarding completion.
• Assist employees with general HR questions and ongoing HR support as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist with other HR duties as assigned.
