Job summary

Pregis in Illinois is seeking a Bi-Lingual HR Coordinator to manage daily HR operations at the Elgin and Aurora plants. You will support recruiting, onboarding, records management, benefits coordination, and compliance reporting while serving as the primary contact for staff questions.

Under the HR Manager, you will help with training materials, employee relations, performance processes, and payroll-related tasks. The role requires Spanish/English fluency and 1–3 years of HR experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related human resources experience.
• Bi-lingual Spanish required.
• Knowledge of HRIS and payroll processes a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & offboarding: Prepare offer letters, orientations, and tax forms.
• Records & HRIS management: Update personnel files and status changes.
• Benefits administration: Answer questions, guide open enrollment, assist with vendor billing.
• Employee support: First point of contact for policy questions and requests.
• Compliance & reporting: Track training, audits, and generate basic reports.
• Assist with performance reviews and training materials.
• Schedule candidate interviews and onboarding activities.
