AFM Agency, based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner fluent in Mandarin and English. You will oversee HR operations for our New York office, handling employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and policy development in a fast-growing, AI-native environment.

The role is on-site, full-time, focusing on NY employment requirements, performance management, and practical HR processes.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• 3+ years HR experience, including NY hands-on experience.
• Prior HR Business Partner/HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist preferred.
• Strong employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and performance management skills.
• Working knowledge of NY employment laws and HR practices.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent and able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsabilités

• Advise management and employees on HR policies, performance, and workplace matters.
• Handle employee relations, conflicts, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Support compliance with federal, NY State, and NYC employment requirements.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records, HR policies, and internal documentation.
• Improve HR workflows and support a positive, professional workplace culture.
