Wellspring Family Services in Seattle, WA is seeking a compassionate Bilingual Resident Support Specialist to work on-site at an affordable housing community in White Center. You will engage residents, assess needs, and help connect them with housing resources to strengthen stability.

This role requires 3+ years in housing support or related fields, fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication and advocacy skills, and a trauma-informed, equity-centered approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in housing support, case management, or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Experience supporting diverse and vulnerable populations, including those exiting homelessness.
• Knowledge of housing stability strategies and landlord-tenant issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, advocacy, and resource navigation for residents.
• Conduct needs assessments and create individualized action plans to help residents overcome barriers to housing stability.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for residents at risk of eviction, including connections to rental and utility assistance.
• Advocate for residents while building strong partnerships with property managers to find practical solutions.
• Connect residents to community resources, including healthcare, mental health services, employment, childcare, transportation, food assistance, and financial counseling.
• Build strong relationships with residents, property management, schools, nonprofits, and community partners.
• Support community events and develop programs for children and youth, including educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and track resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and connected residential community through a trauma-informed, equity-centered approach.
