Wellspring Family Services in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Senior Resident Support Specialist to join our Housing team at an affordable on-site community. You will address housing stability, provide day-to-day guidance, and monitor partner services to residents with diverse needs.

The role blends direct support, team leadership, community programming, and contract oversight, requiring strong judgment, organization, and cultural competency to navigate complex situations independently.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent on-site presence and serve as a key point of contact for residents and service delivery needs.
• Conduct needs assessment and develop individualized action plans addressing barriers such as housing instability, financial challenges, employment, healthcare, transportation, childcare, food security, and mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention and eviction-prevention support, including assistance accessing rental and utility resources.
• Educate residents about tenant rights and responsibilities and help residents, landlords, and property management resolve concerns and identify solutions that support housing stability.
• Advocate for appropriate landlord mitigation strategies, including payment plans and reasonable accommodations.
• Connect residents with community resources and coordinate referrals to appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation and report on service delivery, outcomes, and resident satisfaction.
