Job summary

Valence-Care in New York is seeking an experienced scheduling professional to manage homecare staffing, admissions, and scheduling processes. You will work with a bilingual team to ensure timely referrals, admissions, and high-quality client care across shifts and regions.

This role requires strong communication, coaching ability, and proficiency with EMR and data analysis. The environment is fast-paced with multiple priorities and a focus on cost control and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive homecare or health care experience including staffing, employee relations, recruitment required.
• Strong written and oral communications; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Skilled at coaching employees at all levels within the organization.
• Excellent computer skills, EMR use, email, and data review.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff scheduling to minimize unscheduled shifts and overtime.
• Coordinate admissions and ensure referrals convert to admission.
• Receive, investigate, and resolve scheduling-related client complaints.
• Coordinate recruitment needs and participate in interviewing and onboarding.
• Coordinate caregiver/nurse schedules for consistency and cost control.
• Facilitate mass communications with regional field employees and leaders.
• Ensure communication between Care Coordination and location leadership, clinical, and recruiting.
• Collaborate with clinical team to optimize staffing for patient care delivery.
