Ambercare is seeking a driven Service Coordinator (Scheduler) to lead scheduling for in-home care workers and clients in the Santa Fe area. You will coordinate schedules, provide coverage when needed, and support field staff to ensure high-quality home care services.

The role requires 1 year of industry experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and reliable transportation. This position is an in-office, full-time opportunity with focus on timely communication and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of industry experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel and scheduling software.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area.
• Create and manage schedules; adjust for client requests, illness, or leave.
• Provide coverage to ensure care plans are followed and uninterrupted.
• Contact care providers and clients to share service updates.
• Conduct monthly wellness calls and home visits as needed.
• Handle escalated client complaints and issues with follow‑through.
• Supervise direct service staff; set expectations on attendance and conduct.
• Maintain a professional, tidy branch environment and confidentiality.
• Follow all regulations (MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA) and internal policies.
