Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience performing eligibility, insurance, or billing work.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in health or human services preferred.
• Must pass Covered California background check and two exams (CEC and SYH Eligibility competency).
• Reliable transportation to attend events and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals and families in applying for and retaining health coverage and submitting applications.
• Upload verification documents and submit completed applications.
• Submit Medi‑Cal renewal packages and related eligibility changes.
• Maintain records and prepare monthly reports for supervisors and county partners.
• Conduct patient engagement events and provide information on SYH services and health coverage options.
