Job summary

San Diego Humane Society is hiring a full-time Bilingual Guest Experience Associate to serve as the first point of contact for guests and callers at our San Diego campus. You’ll help guests find services, answer questions, and guide adoptions with a positive, professional demeanor.

The role requires at least one year in customer/guest services, English/Spanish bilingualism, and a background with animals in a shelter or veterinary setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer/guest services.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Prior experience working with animals in a shelter or veterinary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to every guest; acknowledge guests entering or calling, determine needs, answer questions, and resolve inquiries.
• Assist guests with adoptions, relinquishments, and services; check in/out as needed.
• Help with Community Cat Program eligibility and other guest experience areas as assigned.
• Support with admissions, stray and reclaim processes and maintain a welcoming environment.
