Job summary

Animal Care Centers of NYC is hiring a Client Care Representative to greet clients, answer questions, and connect them to the right departments. You will handle inquiries about admissions, adoptions, and services, while maintaining compassionate service in a fast-paced shelter environment.

This union position offers overtime and a schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Prior experience in customer service and strong computer skills are essential, with bilingual Spanish abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Positive, compassionate attitude and good computer skills are required.
• Treats animals and people with respect.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and connect them to other departments as needed.
• Provide information about ACC services including animal admission, adoption, health and behavior.
• Answer questions about fees, requirements and resources.
