Job summary

Elite Workforce LLC in Houma, LA is seeking a Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire qualified talent for diverse client needs. This role requires strong communication in English and Spanish and the ability to build relationships with candidates and clients.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to onboarding and retention, thriving in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on workforce development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong recruiting best practices and candidate sourcing techniques.
• Experience using ATS/HRIS and recruiting software.
• Knowledge of employment laws and onboarding procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates and manage full lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract candidates.
• Build talent pipelines with schools and community organizations.
• Coordinate job fairs and recruitment events.
• Maintain candidate pipelines using ATS/HRIS.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to plan staffing.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and generate hiring reports.
• Support retention efforts through regular communication with employees.
• Conduct reference checks and background verifications as required.
