The Community Health Center of Stamford is seeking a Patient Services Associate to join our on-site team. You will welcome patients, manage scheduling, and handle a busy phone system, while ensuring accurate data entry and confidentiality.

The role requires an associates degree in medical offices or medical assisting, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong customer service and communication skills. Full-time hours and a competitive hourly rate are offered with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical office or medical assistant required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and provide exceptional customer service.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and assist them as appropriate.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and manage the phone system.
• Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Enter data accurately in the EHR and balance daily records.
• Support HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality.
• Escalate concerns to site leads and assist with department goals.
