Allied Physicians Kids Care Pediatrics in Elmont, NY is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming heart of the front desk. You will greet patients, register new visits, answer calls, and help with insurance verification and copay collection in a fast-paced environment.

Two offices in the area require travel between sites. A High School diploma and 1–3 years of experience are required, with English/Spanish bilingualism preferred and AthenaOne/Phreesia experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Medical Receptionist experience required.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients while providing excellent customer service.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration.
• Answer phones, process messages, and assist with general office communication.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information.
• Support referrals, forms, scanning, and front desk administrative tasks.
• Assist patients and families with questions regarding office processes and appointments.
• Travel between offices based on operational needs.
