Job summary

National Vision is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our front desk team. The role involves greeting customers, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records with attention to privacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Experience as a receptionist/front desk is preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality customer service while following safety protocols.
• Maintain smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Process and understand managed care plans and obtain information from insurance as needed.
• Provide customers with basic and accurate information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and classes.
• File patient records daily and prepare for next day appointments.
• Check order status and notify customers of delays.
• Keep the reception area tidy and stocked.
• Manage daily mail/deliveries and inventory of office supplies.
• Attend mandatory communication meetings.
