Job summary

Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the first contact for patients at the front desk in Chicago. You will guide check-ins, collect data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure visits run smoothly while delivering welcoming service.

Training includes Epic EMR; the role supports patient-centered medical home goals and community health outcomes. Requirements include high school diploma, basic computer skills, evening/weekend availability,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patients’ first point of contact and create a welcoming and supportive environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect accurate data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure their visit is smooth and efficient.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model.
• Advance organizational goals to improve patient care and community health outcomes.
• Receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with Epic, one of the world's leading Electronic Medical Record systems.
