Job summary

Compass Family Services in San Francisco is seeking a Bilingual Floater Case Manager to support families across the agency. This full-time role requires quick learning, trauma-informed approach, and the ability to work on a rotating team.

You will engage with Spanish and English-speaking clients, coordinate rent assistance, maintain case files in Salesforce and the ONE System, and collaborate with multiple programs to ensure clients’ stability and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English at a high level.
• Valid CA driver’s license and Zipcar eligibility.
• Experience working with people in crisis and homeless families.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• Experience in a public-facing field with phone/email/in-person communication.
• Excellent reliability, organization, and professionalism.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with families that foster connection, support, and trust.
• Partner with families to develop short and long-range stability, self-sufficiency and well-being goals.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to services offered both within Compass and externally.
• Connect with families regularly through office visits, home visits, and phone/email/text contact.
• Work with family and Compass finance team to ensure timely payment of rent and rental subsidies, and help families to navigate any challenges that arise with their landlord/property manager.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and promptly enter case notes, assessments, and service plans in Compass’ Salesforce database and ONE System.
