Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative at the Mesquite Branch to deliver exceptional member service, open and service accounts, and advise on financial products while achieving sales and service goals.

The role includes loan servicing, cross-selling, and occasional branch travel. Requires strong communication, basic math, and a high school diploma; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail banking or related sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to satisfy immediate and unexpected needs by recommending credit union products and services.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while handling member activities and requests.
• Ability to prepare loan documents and cross-sell financial services of the credit union.
• Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and assess member needs.
• Open new accounts and service existing ones; explain products and services.
• Meet sales and service goals through consultative approach.
• Originates loans by reviewing applications and approvals; cross-sell loans.
• Perform teller duties as needed and assist in travel to other branches as required.
