Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Training & Development Specialist to coordinate onsite HR training across project sites and deliver programs via online, instructor-led and hybrid formats. Travel is required and relocation to Midland/Odessa may be offered for the right candidate.

Develop training materials with SME input, manage LMS records, and apply adult learning theory to create engaging content for diverse audiences. Fluent English/Spanish is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in training & development, field training, in Oil & Gas, Power, or Industrial Construction.
• Bilingual with English and Spanish.
• Strong ability to graphically illustrate complex concepts for learners.
• Superior communicator with SMEs, translating technical concepts into clear content.
• Experience with Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and LMS.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of AAS degree and 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Site Leadership to deliver HR training at project sites.
• Travel will be required to various sites.
• Set up new courses, manage content, and upload training records in LMS.
• Develop and maintain engaging training materials in various formats.
• Create E-learning content and provide SME-reviewed materials.
• Edit course content based on SME input and apply adult learning theory.
• Create assessments aligning with learning objectives.
• Source innovative training materials from learning technology providers.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Design and maintain technical course materials and learner evaluations.
• Analyze audience and develop objectives aligned with needs.
• Evaluate modules for functionality and scoring in the system.
• Partner with SMEs to support edits and functionality.
• Collaborate across teams to improve programs and engage online participants.
