Job summary

Ooma is seeking a Field Support Specialist to provide remote technical and operational support for field resources. You will coordinate installation activity, troubleshoot issues remotely, and maintain service documentation.

The role requires 2–3 years in a technical customer-facing role, fluency in Quebec French, and ability to work with digital tools to boost productivity. Knowledge of wiring or networking is a plus, with opportunities to grow within a cloud-based UCaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in technical customer success, implementation coordination, remote technical support, service coordination, or similar role.
• Experience in UCaaS or customer-service call-center is preferred.
• Fluency in French, specifically Quebec French (Québécois).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn hardware, software, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule field resources with 3rd party dispatch vendors.
• Serve as internal point of contact and provide high-quality support via phone, email, video, and service-management tools.
• Support field resources during installations by clarifying requirements and coordinating next steps.
• Use remote diagnostics to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, or installation issues.
• Provide timely updates on progress, risks, and next steps.
• Coordinate with field resources and internal teams to keep tasks on schedule.
• Complete accurate service reports and document troubleshooting activity and resolutions.
