Lennar Mortgage in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Loan Officer who will build relationships with clients and homebuilding associates, conduct on-site meetings, and guide the loan process from application through closing.

You will prospect communities, host seminars for first-time buyers, review financial data, lock rates ahead of closing, and provide personalized mortgage advice while staying compliant with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Loan Originating experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• NMLS license or state license, willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing) preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Proficient in mortgage software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop outside sales activities, visit communities, realtors, and host First Time Homebuyer seminars.
• Provide personalized mortgage recommendations and lock rates ahead of closing.
• Manage leads daily and coordinate in-person/virtual meetings with stakeholders.
• Originate and prepare new loans per regulations; advise on suitable products.
• Support New Home Consultants with pre-qualifications and pipeline development; track metrics.
