Job summary

Lennar Mortgage is seeking a Field Loan Officer in Tampa to build relationships with clients, homebuilding associates, and referral sources in the field. You will assess financial data, guide customers on mortgage products, and facilitate the loan process on site.

Key requirements include bilingual English/Spanish, a minimum of 3 years of loan-originating experience, a high school diploma (or higher), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Loan Originating experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• NMLS License and state license or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Fluent in Spanish—speaking and writing preferred.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage tools.

Responsibilities

• Business development and customer relations: generate leads and visit communities.
• Travel to builder and realtor events; conduct seminars and closings.
• Provide tailored mortgage recommendations and lock rates ahead of closing.
• Originate and prepare loans per regulatory requirements and company roadmap.
• Maintain reports and notes in origination systems for status tracking.
