Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated bilingual Field Interviewers to conduct English/Spanish MEPS interviews using a Westat-provided laptop. The role includes arranging and performing in-person interviews, traveling for training, and collecting electronic and hard-copy documents.

Hours are part-time and variable, with two data collection periods annually. Training is mandatory, including in-person sessions in January 2027, and ongoing web-based modules.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Be able to complete mandatory web-based home study training with required Microsoft Teams video sessions.
• Willingness to travel for mandatory in-person training and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Contact households in-person or by phone to gain cooperation and schedule interviews.
• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews and collect paperwork.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
