Job summary

Westat is seeking bilingual Field Interviewers for the MEPS study to collect health care costs and usage data. Interviews are conducted in English and Spanish, in-person or via computer-assisted video, using a Westat laptop.

This is a part-time, travel-heavy role with mandatory January 2027 in-person training; data collection runs through 2030. Hours are mostly evenings/weekends, with supplemental travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Complete Westat language assessment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Contact households to gain cooperation and set interviews.
• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
