Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated bilingual Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study in the United States. The role involves in-person and video interviews in English and Spanish, travel for training, and occasional overnight trips.

Interactions with diverse households will be conducted using a Westat laptop across two data collection rounds each year. Training occurs in January 2027, with data collection spanning January 2027 to December 2030.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Ability to conduct in-person interviews in diverse settings and follow protocols.
• Reliable to travel for training and fieldwork as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with households.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect interview data and signed documents.
• Transmit data daily and adhere to data security requirements.
