Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance to support plasma center operations.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR/AED, and clinical experience. This is a part-time, on-site position in Thornton, CO with focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification is required for patient care and donor safety.
• Experience in clinical or hospital settings is preferred to support donor procedures.
• Regulatory knowledge and adherence to biohazard and safety standards are expected.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical interview.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies following SOPs.
• Refer complex cases to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Assist in occupational health/ER incident evaluations per EHS guidance.
