BioLife Plasma Services in San Antonio seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, manage donor safety, and coordinate with physicians for medical guidance in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires nursing licensure or equivalent training, CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience. Part-time schedule, on-site at BioLife center in Texas, with benefits and compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing education or state licensure.
• Must hold current licensed/certified status in the state of duty (RN/LPN/LVN or EMT variations).
• CPR and AED certification required.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and lab result review.
• Evaluate and respond to donor adverse events following SOPs and coordinate with Center Physician for medical guidance.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or complex medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and participate in pandemic response as needed.
