BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in San Antonio, TX. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage donor adverse events, and assist the Center Manager under physician guidance.

Requirements include EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN license, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Competitive benefits and a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or nursing education equivalent.
• Licensed in state EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P or RN/LPN.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, medical history, and screening.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate emergency care as needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical/technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate EHS guidance for investigations.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support related investigations.
