Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in San Antonio, TX to support donor eligibility, medical events, and laboratory result review at a plasma donation center.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring compliance with EHS guidelines and FDA training requirements for bio-life plasma operations. Requires medical licensure and CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State licensure or certification: EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN/LVN, RN.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and self-exclusion.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and maintain safety protocols.
• Support center physician guidance and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Assist with vaccination programs and occupational health processes.
