Qualifications

• EMT licensure in the state where duties will be performed.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Familiarity with FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support investigations.
