Job summary

Pasona Inc. is seeking an Economic Development Representative / Researcher in New York, NY. This full-time position supports bilateral economic relations, conducts policy research, and prepares market intelligence for Japanese and U.S. stakeholders.

The role requires Japanese and English bilingual fluency, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with in-office and remote days. A BA or higher is required.

Qualifications

• BA/College degree or higher.
• Experience in marketing, business development, or sales is preferred.
• Experience in data collection and analysis, especially in the energy sector, or coordinating promotional events and PR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing activities, programs, and services promoting bilateral economic relations between Japan and the U.S.
• Conduct research and analysis of U.S. federal and state policies and disseminate information to stakeholders in both countries.
• Collect and share up-to-date information on Japan’s investment trends in the U.S.; manage surveys and coordinate communications.
