TOP Group - Japanese Recruiting Agency in New York, NY is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Economic Development Representative / Researcher to support U.S. initiatives and research activities.

The role involves researching federal and state policies, analyzing economic trends, and sharing findings with stakeholders in Japan and the U.S. You will assist Japanese companies’ business development and coordinate research projects, surveys, and promotional activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze U.S. federal and state policies, economic trends, and industry developments.
• Collect and share information regarding Japanese investment and business activities in the U.S.
• Coordinate research projects, data collection, surveys, and reporting.
• Communicate and collaborate with government agencies, economic development organizations, companies, and industry associations.
• Support Japanese companies in addressing business and economic development-related matters.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, promotional events, social media, and public relations activities.
• Provide administrative and program coordination support as needed.
