Job summary

CSL Plasma in McAllen, Texas is seeking a part-time Customer Service - Donor Support Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish) to prepare donors and equipment for pheresis, monitor the process, respond to alarms, and ensure donor safety.

You will record incidents with the PDA, link equipment to donors in the donor information system, and assist with supply management while complying with SOPs, OSHA and HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using PDA (alerts, alarms, volumes, adverse events).
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues; maintain data accuracy in SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
