Job summary

CSL Plasma in Miami is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, areas, and equipment for pheresis procedures. You will set up the autopheresis machine, monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor upon completion.

You will maintain donor safety, record incidents and donor data in the electronic system, and ensure compliance with SOPs, HSE, and OSHA policies while maintaining a clean, confidential work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and process data using the PDA and link equipment to donors as needed.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues and ensure accurate donor data in the management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and maintain confidentiality.
