Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms and signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete; monitor for donor reactions.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Adhere to HSE/OSHA policies and promote safety.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
