Job summary

CSL Plasma in El Paso, TX is looking for a part-time Customer Service - Donor Support Technician. You will prepare the donor, area and equipment for pheresis, monitor the process and respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete.

You will use a Personal Digital Assistant to record incidents and link equipment to donors, maintain data accuracy in the donor information system, and uphold HSE and OSHA policies. Bilingual English/Spanish may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health setting.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect donor when process completes.
• Record incidents and donor data in PDA and EDI systems.
• Link equipment and supplies to the correct donor; ensure accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with OSHA/HSE policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required as needed.
