Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist both wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend products. The role supports multiple MI stores, including Ypsilanti and Canton locations, while upholding high standards of service and store appearance.

Responsibilities include helping customers, processing transactions, stocking, tinting, and ensuring accurate inventory. Evening and weekend availability is required, with a focus on meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a meets expectations rating.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and inventories.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
