Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking Customer Service Specialists to work in our Michigan stores. You will assist customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions while supporting sales goals across multiple locations in the area.

Responsibilities include in-person and phone assistance, inventory handling, tinting/mixing, and delivering strong customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: rating of at least 'meets expectations'.
• Complete HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policy.
• Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and pricing formulas.
• Retrieve products from floor or warehouse and stock shelves.
• Tint and mix products to customer specs; set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries.
• Maintain in-stock, presentable areas and stay knowledgeable about products.
