Job summary

The Juris Agency in Round Rock, Texas, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist existing customers with their insurance needs, answer calls, handle billing and policy questions, and provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required or strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to learn insurance software and systems.
• Must be comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Texas insurance license is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer phone calls and assist with questions
• Provide customer service in both English and Spanish
• Assist customers with billing and payment questions
• Provide insurance ID cards and policy documents
• Process adding and removing vehicles and other policy changes
• Assist with Farmers, Bristol West, Foremost, Progressive, and other insurance products
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding items and required documents
• Review claims and follow up with customers after a claim is filed
• Assist with new customer onboarding
• Confirm customers have completed required documents
• Help customers create and access online accounts
• Identify potential cross-selling opportunities and refer them to the appropriate sales representative
