Job summary

The Juris Agency in Spring, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be trained into an insurance agent. The position can be part-time or full-time and supports both current clients and prospects by phone.

Our office is quickly growing and we need someone who we can train to fit in our office puzzle! The position offered ispart-time or full-time. Our Customer Service Representative needs to exceed customer service standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in. This position is the stepping stone to the Insurance agent position towards becoming a licensed insurance agent.

Not required to have a license but will be required to get licensed. Assistance in getting licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health. With each license acquired, an increase in hourly wage will be given. If not licensed.

No prior experience is necessary. However, must be serious in committing to the training and applying for both licenses. This is an opportunity to have a licensed profession and not just a job.

Responsibilities

• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Answer incoming phone calls on the first few rings.
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
• Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe.
• Call potential leads for quotes and gather information for quotes
• Respond to customers request in policy changes and payments
• Required to cross-sell other products by gathering information for the quotes

Requirements

• Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is required.
