Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• 2+ years of customer service experience; logistics/industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries about orders, shipments, product information, and inventory.
• Meet a 2-hour call-back standard and advocate for customer satisfaction.
• Support monthly operations reporting and data entry into logs/spreadsheets.
• Assist with warehouse transfer, repack and relabel in ERP system.
• Make thank-you survey calls to new customers and help complete surveys.
• Document customer complaints and route to Customer Service Manager.
• Cross-train for team backup and PTO coverage.
• Participate in continuous improvement meetings to enhance team performance.

Job description

Our client, an established distribution company, is looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Support team member. You'll be the friendly, dependable point of contact for customers and the internal sales team on orders, shipments, product information, and inventory availability. You'll also help keep reporting and shipping processes running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer and sales team inquiries about orders, shipment status, product information, inventory availability, complaints, and custom stocking programs
• Meet a 2-hour call-back standard and serve as a customer advocate to ensure total satisfaction
• Support monthly operations reporting, including on-time shipment, accuracy, and expedite metrics, and enter data into logs and spreadsheets
• Assist with warehouse transfer, repack, and relabel processes in the company's ERP system
• Make thank-you survey calls to new customers and help them complete the survey
• Document customer complaints and route them to the Customer Service Manager
• Cross-train on Service Specialist duties to provide team backup and PTO coverage
• Take part in continuous improvement meetings and help the team get better every day

What you'll bring

• Fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written
• At least 2 years of customer service experience (industry-related experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with basic math, including fractions and decimals, and the ability to follow written work instructions and procedure manuals

Schedule and pay

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch
