Elevance Health is seeking a Customer Care Representative I - Bilingual (US) to support customers with insurance benefits, eligibility and claims in a hybrid work environment. The role requires a HS diploma and bilingual Spanish proficiency, with training and collaboration from teammates and managers.

The position emphasizes strong verbal and written communication, the ability to multi-task across calls, texts, and e-mails, and the use of digital tools and platforms to resolve inquiries

Qualificações

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and experience in an automated customer service environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) or multi-language skills required and able to pass a language test/assessment.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication; able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.
• Analyses problems and provides information/solutions.
• Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
• Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure timely responses.
• Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
• Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
• Receives and places follow-up calls/emails to answer routine questions under supervision.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
