Job summary

Melaleuca is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our Call Center in Rexburg, ID. You will communicate with customers and leadership, resolve questions, and maintain professional interactions throughout each call.

Applicants should be fluent in French and English, have strong problem-solving and typing skills, and be able to manage stress while delivering accurate records and timely resolutions. Overtime may be required as part of a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both French and English is required.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm or faster.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-relations abilities.
• Able to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication by phone and in person.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Attend Melaleuca Academy or required training.

Responsibilities

• Develops a positive line of communication with customers and leadership.
• Maintains a professional and courteous manner when interfacing with customers.
• Records notes related to every call in customer logs and reviews logs before resolving.
• Forwards logs to the appropriate department or service group.
• Reships products lost by carrier or damaged items with proper invoices.
• Refunds issues on customers’ accounts.
• Contacts customers regarding address issues resulting in returns.
• Reclaims products sent in error and issues prepaid postage labels.
• Answers basic questions related to company products and services.
• Assists other departments with returns, shipping problems, and credits.
• Transfers customer requests to appropriate department or individuals.
• Applies policies to determine resolutions.
• Tracks shipments with UPS, DHL, Canada Post, and International Bridge Shipments.
• Supports customer retention.
