Job summary

Maximus is hiring Bilingual Customer Service Specialists to support the Health Texas project. The role involves handling customer care and enrollment services via phone, IVR, and web channels. Training is provided to ensure knowledge and professionalism, with opportunities for Hybrid and Fully Remote work arrangements.

Residents of Texas within 70 miles of Houston are preferred. Shifts run 8:00am–6:30pm CST with 8-hour blocks.

Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
• High school diploma or GED required; 0-6 months of relevant experience acceptable.
• Ability to type efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming inquiries via telephone, IVR, web chat, or other approved channels.
• Provide accurate information regarding programs and services to enrollees, health plans, and providers.
• Document and track all interactions in applicable systems; ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Escalate complex issues to designated staff for resolution; coordinate with teams as needed.
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking customers.
