Job summary

NLACRC, a private nonprofit serving the San Fernando Valley, seeks a Consumer Services coordinator to advocate for individuals and families and arrange services. You will participate in program planning, monitor plans, coordinate resources, and document activities per NLACRC policies.

The role requires engaging with diverse communities, attending meetings, and providing dependable coverage to ensure high-quality support while maintaining empathy and respect in a variety of settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and at least two years of related experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related subject may be substituted for experience.
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting as required by NLACRC policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Participate in development of program plans and monitor/evaluate them.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Document and complete forms/reports per regulations and NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule/interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, service providers, advocates, etc.
• Identify barriers to service and implement culturally sensitive strategies.
