Job summary

Aliviane Inc. in El Paso, TX seeks a Program Coordinator to advance prevention efforts and community engagement. You will coordinate prevention services, help develop coalitions, and deliver presentations to diverse audiences to reduce substance use and abuse.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and cultural competency, supporting four prevention priorities: underage drinking, marijuana, prescription drug abuse, and tobacco. A Bachelor's degree and bilingual ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Education, Sociology or related field.
• CPS or APS designation and CPS certification within 12 months of employment.
• 2-4 Years Experience.
• Ability to express self, in English, clearly in writing and speech.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create community awareness about health consequences of substance use and abuse.
• Maximize resources through community mobilization to change norms.
• Provide prevention presentations and awareness to the community for program services.
• Maintain records and documentation for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with coalitions and agencies to implement CSAP strategies.
